Start.up! Germany Tour 2025

AHK Romania invites Romanian startups to apply for the Start.up! Germany Tour 2025 – an exclusive international program tailored for emerging businesses looking to explore and expand within Germany’s dynamic innovation ecosystem. One high-potential Romanian startup will be selected to join this top-level tour, which will take place on-site in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany, from June 30 to July 4, 2025.

 This year, our focus is on Green Tech, Industrial Solutions, and Life Science – sectors where groundbreaking ideas are reshaping industries.

We have been the official partner in Romania since the early days of the project in 2019 and once again we are proud to nominate one outstanding startup for this exceptional opportunity.

Romania has had a finalist in each of the last three editions, and in the most recent tour, the Romanian startup dotLumen was awarded First Prize, standing out among dozens of high-potential startups from around the world.

Program Highlights:

• Networking with leading investors, corporates, and accelerators
• Company visits and insights into Germany’s innovation landscape
• Pitching opportunities in front of industry leaders and decision-makers
• Participation in Digiday and the prestigious Grand Final
• Prizes worth at least €15,000, sponsored by the NRW government
• A chance to join the Future Tech Fest 2025 for the winning startups
• Reimbursement of travel expenses up to €500

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for selection, your startup should:

• Operate in one of the following sectors: Green Tech, Industrial Solutions, or Life Science
• Be less than 10 years old
• Have passed the seed stage and generate meaningful revenue
• Have a scalable and internationally oriented business model, preferably with a focus on Germany or Europe
• Not have an existing office in Germany
• Be able to pitch in professional business English

Each participating country can nominate only one startup, so this is a highly competitive and valuable opportunity.
