Cities of Tomorrow 2026

CITIES OF TOMORROW, AHK Romania’s flagship event dedicated to the sustainable development of cities and regions, will take place in 2026 in Bucharest.

This year’s theme – “Urban Renaissance: Sustainable Urban Makeover through Green and Smart Infrastructure” – addresses urban transformation through an integrated approach, positioning green and smart infrastructure as key drivers of urban regeneration.

The conference brings together representatives of central and local public authorities, companies, developers, architects, technology providers, experts and professional organisations in a practical dialogue on:

green infrastructure and energy efficiency;
sustainable urban mobility;
urban regeneration and integrated development;
digitalisation and smart city solutions;
public–private partnerships.

The programme will feature plenary sessions, thematic panels, interactive round tables, national and international best practices, as well as project visits in Bucharest.
